Wow time goes by so fast.My baby Kai turned 1 today.

He was born 3wks early but he was healthy and pretty big!

His first word was Hana.I was kind a hopig he would say mama first.

But I guess we call the name more often in our house so he picked that one first.He loves wheels,swings,chasing ball,pretty much his interes are boys stuff.He is not quite walking yet.But he is trying.

Today he start doing phone motion.When I say :moshimoshi: (its hello in english) he put phone behind his ear.It was really cute moment...

I am so greatful having him in my life.He is my comforter.I wish we could stop time forever!!!

This letter reminds me that Hana is still 2nd grades.Her attitude is already teenager though...

But still Emma was happy to share her new toys with her sister.

It was so nice that I didn't have to clean at all.

Well usually my friend Carly cleans up after party,and she still tried to clean up st chuck E Cheeses.It was funny.

Emma's 4th Birthday

Our little Emma turned big 4.I can't believe she is preschooler now.She has been always easy baby to me and her character just makes me laugh all the time.She still likes rubbing my ear and when she tired it speeds up.I am not sure when she is gonna stop rubbing me.It is quite annoying...

She is very thoughtful girl.She is always talking about somebody she misses.Her friends,her grandpa and grandma,her aunt and our dog Jigen.Nobody talks about Jigen anymore but Emma.

She believes Jigen at church hiding somewhere.Cause I told her that Jigen is with Heavenly Father.

She had been counting on this day since last her birthday.

Everyday she checked my calendar on the fridge and kept page on September....

I had plan for her big day.I was gonna make princess cake which she was begging for a year,and having nice homemade yummy dinner with family.

Well,unfortunately it didn't happen.I was sick all day the day.

But this boy Jack (Jack and Emma go to preschool together),he made Emma's day for me.

After picked them up from preschool,we went to MacDonald to cerebrate Emma's birthday.

You can see in these pictures,there were no kids at all... It was kind a lame but,still they had a fun!!!! Emma was very happy to be with her friend Jack on her birthday.

She received barbie bath toy(it is like aqua doodle) from him.She really liked it.

I am wishing that Emma will continue being a kind and funny girl.

My kids loves this old classic show "THE MUNSTERS" so much.

Garrod used to watch this show with his dad when he was little,and now he is passing on to his daughters and they are enjoying it.It is pretty funny stuff.American Classic is awesome.

Finally my old cheep vacuum died.YES!!!! And we got this famous vacuum Dyson at BEST BUY!

I absolutely love it.It worth every single penny.

You have no idea how much I was disgusted by old vacuum after I saw how much new vacuum picked old dirt from carpet.It was nasty.It has been 3months since our dog died.And off course I vacuumed almost everyday.But still this vacuum picked jigen's hair.

This is my Christmas present AND birthday present from GARROD.Thanks Garrod.

I promise I will do better job.

Oh my gosh...My little Emma is Preschooler now.Her school started right after Labors day.She wasn't sure going to school was fun for her.But once she met This amazing teacher Miss Kerry Parker,her doubt was cleared.

She has been teaching for long time.I mean 18years long.She taught Hana for 2years,Hana's grades been awesome because of her.

After Emma came back from school,I asked bunch of questions to try to get any information.

But I got nothing.So I don't know what exactly what she did at school,all I can say was she had a good time with new friends and teacher.

Now there is no kids in the morning.Kinda little lonely.I guess it is time to get house organized .

Our Labor's day

Since all my family members have been suffering because of my pregnancy(well,I have been doing nothing but sleeping),we decided to do something fun with kids.

So,First thing in the morning checked Bounce U MESA website & got all the information from it.

And I called them to make reservation.Luckily We could get in at 3p.m.

Kids worked really hard cleaning their rooms so they can get to play at Bounce U.

Now it is time to go.They were extremely exciting.Drove 10minutes.Here we are.But there were something wrong.They closed the place for GOOD.I couldn't believe it.Who did I talked to????

I was MAD!!!! Nobody can't mess with me especially now!

We went home once checked phone# again.It was right number.... I called again.

They said "Bounce U Gilbert,How can I help you?" What??????

They screwed me up.Now it is too late to go there.Kids were very disappointed.I was disappointed.
What do we do now.... Getting hungry.Oh, Chick fil-A!!! There is something kids can play and if you wear SPORT shirt,you get free chicken sandwich.Must go.I told Garrod wear Sport shirt you get free food.But Garrod was like it is no worth to wear stupid shirt like that. ?????????

Huh? I don't get it... Anyway we got there,there were quite bit people in SPORT shirt.

Garrod asked me "why people wearing sport shirt?" I was like .... "I told you to wear SPORT shirt to get free food" Garrod "No you said SPOTTED shirt!!!"

Here is misunderstanding again..... He thought he has to dress like a cow.I wouldn't let you do that Garrod...

But this Chick fil- A thing turned out really fun for kids.

There was lady doing face painting for free.This lady is good.It is not like kids draw.Kids waited maybe 10,15minutes in line.But it worth it.they loved it.

And also,there were old guy doing balloon for free too.What a fun!!!!

I guess Every Monday night between 5:30-7:30 kids can eat free and those fun stuff kids can also get for free.Good deal.

Wow,its been already 7weeks since we got here.
Kids had a lot of good experience over here.Both girls finished school without any absence.
Hana made a lots of friends at school and last day of school,all her class mates wrote letter for her.Hana really enjoyed the school.Her Japanese is great.Thanks to her teacher and friends she has no longer problems talking to people here.
So is Emma.She even translates for my mom.I am so proud of them.
I feel little bad that they didn't have summer break,but I think it is o.k to have a summer that just studied.

I just talked to Garrod.He was so excited us to come home.4more days.Started packing today.Oh my gosh too much stuff...
Usually I can get help from airline company at airport.They help me picking up all the luggage and carry for me.But when I called them to ask to get family support,they told me that they are not sure they can help us this time because too many people already asked. Shoot!!! If I don't get any help,I would be so dead.Kids...They better be super well behaved.otherwise I might kill them.

One of the national tresure and the best view of japan Miyajima.Luckly I grew up waching the beatiful view. It is called Torii.It was build more than 500 rears ago.What so rare was it is in the oacian.

We took a boat to get to the iland.Takes only 10 minutes.

Do you see a deer behind kids? Deer and people are living together in this iland.

There are so used to human.They don't bite.

One rainy day,kids wanted to go to beach.... ummmm,well... there was nothing to do anyway.
Let's go!!!

Here is kuba harbor.

They found huge pile of sea shells.They are used for raising oysters.

Jelly fish.

Takes only 5minutes to get to the beach.I never felt it is so special having beach so close to house when I was kids,but for my kids it is such a big thing.It was funny watching that girls get excited every time they see something they never seen.Like watching crab is crossing street,dead jelly fish,seashell is everywhere...I hope they remember this forever!

Ones a year,They open school and show parents that what kids doing at school.
So,I went to check it out.
Here is Emma's Class.Pretty tiny.But it is o.k.There are only 7kids in her class.

She is in class CThis is her teacher.

Look at orange pants she is wearing.They change to this pants when they get to school.
I wore that.And so did Hana.

I impressed that Emma was cleaning up all by herself.

After they played ,they showed the performance that they have been practicing.

It was singing English song.Emma's class,they sang "BINGO"

They are so smart....They even have English teacher come to school and learn English...

This is all of the students of the school.

I am so glad that my kids had opportunity to be able to go to this school.

They don't really teach alphabet but kids learn how to be a kid.

8:30a.m to 4p.m it is long day for Emma.But she loves playing outside covered with mud everyday.And you can see Emma is getting more independent.

I was little nervous to have kids play with that....

Well,there is only this park that kids can play.I used to come here with my friends and created a lots of memories.So at least this rocket gym is 30years old.Never been fixed...

I am so glad that there is a young family lives on the same street.They moved into their new house 2 years ago.Before the family came,Hana didn't have anybody to play with.But she was getting all the attentions from old people though...

Finally we got to meet my nephew.He is 15years old and I never seen such a busy high school student.His schedule is like this.

6a.m Leave his house.Takes 1hour and half to get to school.

7:30 succor practice starts

8:30-3:3o school

Till 7p.m Succor practice again.

8:3o Come home Shower and eat dinner

9 to 11p.m Juku (it is kind a second school.Most kids goes to there to get ready to pass the exam to get in the collage.

11:30 Come home and go to bed.

I thought I was pretty busy when I was in the high school.But holly cow,this kid has no time to do anything.Reason why I was able to see him,because he was sick for a week and that was the weekend he was ready to go back to school.

I am sure not all the students like him.But this schedule is killer.But he never

complain.I would!!!!

I don't think I can raise kids here.So stressful. My sister told me she gets up 5a.m and make his lunch and breakfast.I guess you can't feed cereal for B.F...

Good luck yuuich.I wish he could come see us someday,but it will be awhile....

Hana goes to Kuba Elementary School

After she stayed home for 10days(cause of stupid swine flu),Finally she started to go to school.
The school has got really small compare to the size when I was there.There are only 13kids in her class(7girls and 6boys) which is good for Hana.

This is the school backpack all the kids have.We got it from my moms friend whose daughter no longer need it.This backpack self is so heavy plus textbooks,water bottle,shoes etc...
But she never complain... She said she really likes school over here.Especially lunch is great!
I wonder they still feed whale meat... It was my favorite when I was kid.

This is her school.Hasn't changed at all since 30years ago.I took picture of Hana and her friend Nana.They went to kinder together.

Hana is doing great school.She is doing exact same thing as other kids.
Her Japanese has came back already.According to her class mates,she is speaking Japanese fine at school.Took only 1 week.Amazing.

It is getting hot over here too.Hana is so excited because Swimming class will starts soon at school.Class teacher teaches all the kids of her class during summer.It will be interesting.

Emma's preschool started last Monday.She was so excited and little nervous...

She goes to school 8:30a.m to 4:00 p.m. everyday.I am not sure what exactly she is doing,but She is definitely having fun with her new friends.

They take their shoes off and put them away by them self.

This is the way to go to her school.Takes only seconds to get there.Oh yeah,it is our neighborhood.

This is the school.It is Buddhist temple.I went to this school when I was her age.

She finished 1st week.She did awesome.Her Japanese hasn't came yet,but he started singing Japanese nursery songs.Pretty good huh?

summer in japan

How are you doing America?We are doing good.It has been a week since we got here.Weather is ummm,chilly in the morning and it gets warm in the afternoon.It is going to be rainy season soon,so never get sun.Girls are doing good.They miss their dad and jigen.But we have been doing something everyday,they never get board.

Here is my girls finally fell asleep in the airplane.We had pretty good seats has room around seats.All the seats got own mini t.v screen that you can watch movies,play games,listen your favorite music.I watch the "twilight".
Even though there is TV it was long flight for little Emma.But she was very good.She didn't get fussy at all.This is the worst part.I had to wake them up and carry Emma with luggage..

This is in the train.Since my parents got rid of their car,we take train to go everywhere.They love it.

This is the train station of my town.I used to use this station everyday.Train comes every 10minutes on time.It is nice.

Fish fish fish!!!! Almost everyday we have fish for dinner.Always somebody bring some fishes for us.They want us to enjoy flesh best quality fish in the world.Girls??? Hana freaked out when she saw eyeball.I don't blame her.

Well,swine flu thing has settled down,but still there.Hana caught a cold and I had to called 3 places to find Dr who accept her.She had a exam and it was negative.If it was not,we would be on the t.v.The Dr and nurses had to take 10 days off from work cause they were in the same room with us.I am so glad that it was negative.It would be mess.

Good bye Jigen

Our family's dog Jigen passed away yesterday... He started getting sick again a week before we left to japan.I knew he is not goona make it for long but it was too soon.
Garrod said he seemed like he was waiting for Garrod to wake up,and say good bye.I couldn't say good bye again.We had another dog named pepper.She also died right after Hana and I left to Japan.It sucks for Garrod.He is lonely enough while we are gone.Now he lost his company.
We loved him very much.He was part of our family.We miss you jigen.

かおりちゃんのベイビーシャワー

先週の土曜日お友達かおりちゃんのベイビーシャワーをきみちゃんと開きました。今回私の担当はケーキ．．．
２０人分のケーキなんて作ったことないし、シャワーといえばケーキ。ひゃー、プレッシャーで押しつぶれそうな毎日。
当日はアリゾナ学園の参観も午前中にあるし、２時からはシャワーが始まっちゃうし、時間的にどうアレンジしようかってなやんでたんだけど、上手い具合に花が熱を出したので学校は休み、ゆっくり時間をかけてできるぞー、なんて思ってたら時間分配をま違えたのか、作ってて絶対間に合わないわ～ってかなりあせりまくってました。もちろん熱を出してる花は、母親からの看病もほとんどもらえずうなってたけど。
で、結局たどり着いたのがこのケーキ。ショートケーキのでっかい版です。
軽く３０人分はとれたかなあ。とにかく、かわいくておいしいケーキを作りたくて、トッピングはストロベリー、ブルーベリー、ラズベリー、ブラックベリーとベリーづくし。サイドはレイディーフィンガーでデコしてみました。
結果はオッケーでました。日本人の口にあうケーキ作っちゃいました!もちろん本人目の前にしてまずいなんていう人はいませんが．．．
よかった．．．肩の荷が下りた。
でも今回のケーキ担当でケーキ作りの楽しさを思い出したわ。今度友達にデコの仕方を教えてもらう事になったので、次回はもっとかわいいケーキをつくりたいな。

10 push ups (NO KNEES!)
30 Calf raises
30 slow side leg lifts
25 body squats with weight or body bar

Now Abs!
( Everyday) Time 30seconds for each exercise
Bicycle
Side reaches (no head touch)
Toe touches
Ceiling stomp
Right elbow to knee
Left elbow to knee
Pike to toes with medcine ball
Hold push up position
1 minute regular crunch (belly button in,stare at ceiling)

NOT DONE YET

And Run 30 minutes or 2.5mile

You are done!!!!!

It takes exactly 1hour if you don't talk to your friend while working out.
Carly and I have been working out with this program for a week and we love it!!!
Anyway just try it.It kicks your butt,but you will feel so much better.

Saturday morning, I was getting myself ready and helping my girls ready for school.(Hana goes to Japanese school every saturday).And I heard Garrod was calling me from outside.Kyoko come outside!!!! I said I am busy!!! What!!!!
And he was go You will be more busy.
Then I foud this!!!!
Somebody TPed our house!!!!

I still don't know who did it.But it was pretty bad... They used a lots of rolls of toiletpaper. Garrod poked bushes to take all the paper off the tree and I don't know how many rolls fell off from it.I was like umm...should I roll it up and use them???

Anyway Garrod was not happy.He told me to find out who did it.I asked one girl who might did it.but it was not her.Now I am confused.Somebody hates us?

I thought they did it because they love us.

If anybody know who did this,let me know.Their water will get shut off.

spring break

My couple of friends and I were planing to take our kids to ice skating during spring break for long time.So here we are.Place is called POLAR SKATING or Polar Ice skating something like that.It is on greenfield and Ray.

Before skating,we hit sweet and tomato.,

She is taking pesonal iceskating lesson and she is really good.

First time skating for Hana.She didn't let wall go for a while.She was barely able to stand uo on the ice.

I think after she laped for several times she finally stood up herself.

They had a so much fun and discvered them self,they can skate!!!

But this is not the end.Hana got sick in the night.Had fever,cough...

She stayed in bed f0r 3days after that Emma got sick from Hana and sick for 3days and after that I got sick and mine's worst.So we just stayed home wh0le time during spring break.Oh well,at least they got to do fun stuff on 1stday of the break.

Wow,it has been too long since I updated my blog last time.Well,back on the track.

I been trying to upload all my pictures into my computer but usbcable wasn't working right.Finally I went to bestbuy and bought a card reader to solve the problem.I am not computer person... Took me a month to figure that out.Yeah call me dummy.

Anyway these pictures are about month ago on my 38th birthday.Hoo hoo 2more years to go till BIG40.....

Hana came to my bed and told me Happy Birthday.She said I want to do something to you but no money.So she decided to do the laundry for me.

How sweet !

Since we have open front door type it is pretty easy for kids to do too.I was so happy the little hana is able to do a lot of things and help me.

I think it was happiest moment of the day.

Ticket to Japan!!

I got it!Finally I got it.This economy I never thought I would be able to go home this soon.
Thanks to gas price,Air line company dropped sar charge( used to be charged $400 just that).It made huge difference.I was thinking that Frying from Phoenix to Hiroshima would cost around $4000 for 3person.But it was $2600!!!! I am so excited.Leaving here May 31st coming home July 24th.almost 2months spending time with my parents is little nervous but it will be a lot of fun for kids. Hana is going to public school over there which I went to.Hopefully her Japanese would come back while we stay.It is so nice to have 2citizenship.Such a big blessing to be able to learn different language and culture in such a young age.Coolest thing is my kids has 2passports.
They are one of them.
I am not looking forward 30 hrs travel (take 3 flight and 1hour drive) with crazy kids but definitely worth it.I am looking forward to hang out with my sister and friends.And I love that all the neighbors treat my kids like their own grand kids.
Can't wait!!!

ついに日本行きのチケットゲットしました！！！不景気なんで今年も無理かなーって思ってたんだけど、サーチャージが90％安くなったおかげで、３人で２６００ドルの格安チケットを確保。４０００ドルぐらいかかるチケットしか見つけられなくて、悩んでたのでほんと嬉しかったです。何せ２年半ぶりの帰国。子供たちの日本語は話す事はほぼ皆無に近く、今年帰れなかったら彼女たちの日本語は絶たれるであろうっていうとこまで来てたので、また希望のヒカリが見えてきました。
大変なのはおみやげ。どうしよ。何かいいアイデアありませんか？
さすがに手ぶらで帰るわけにもいかないし、今回は花が通う小学校のクラスのお友達にも何か持って行きたいんだけど、何がいいか全く見当がつかず、こまってます。
誰かいいアイデアあったらぜひ教えてください。
日本のみんな、６月の１日には日本につきます。待っててね。なにか欲しい物があったらリクエストしてください。

アメリパンキッズ　Ａｍｅｒｉｐａｎ　Ｋｉｄｓ

ついにエマもプリスクールに行くことになりましたー。といっても英語ではなく日本語のプリスクールで、お勉強だけじゃなく、日本の文化、日本の歌、踊り、生活指導などなど日本の幼稚園のような事をここで教えてもらいます。
先生は同じ広島出身のゆう子先生で（実は実家も車で２０分ぐらいの距離とかなり近い）、日本でも幼稚園の先生をしてたので、もうあたしたちとしては彼女が日本語のプリスクールを開くと聞いた時は目からうろこでした。
もともとエマはウェイティングリストに入ってたんだけど、ラッキーなことに空きがでたので急に入れることになりました。クラスの中じゃ一番小さいってことです。でも４人の少人数制だからあんまり関係ないけどね。

Emma started going to Preschool.But it is Japanese one.They teach not only Japanese but also teach Japanese culture,songs,sometimes they can get to join local festival as a group.
I heard this year they gonna do some performance for Global village Festival.All kids will be in traditional costume and maybe dance?I am so excited.I can't wait to see it.
Anyway every Wednesday for 3hrs.I know it is not a lot.But Better than nothing.

ぞうぐみ（３歳児）担当のめぐみ先生です。ピアノがとっても上手で、ピアノが始まると子供たちも踊りだします。

This is Emma's teacher Megumi-sensei.She is so sweet and kind.She plays piano so good and once her piano starts, kids get so excited and start dancing.

教室に入ったらまずバックパックからおてふき用のタオルを自分の指定の場所にかけます。
自分の場所があるってことにすごく興味をもったエマ。自分のことは自分でしなきゃーっていう自立心が少し芽生えたようです。

As soon as kids got in the class room,they take own hand towel out from backpack and hang it on own place in the bathroom.Emma thought having own place is cool.
The lady who is helping Emma is this school's owner,Yuko-sensei.Actually she is from Hiroshima too and her mom and my mom came to Arizona together last year.

この日は丁度ひな祭りの次の日だったので、お友達とお雛様の写真をとりました。本人何をしているのかはよくわかってません。

They cerebrated The Girls Day.Emma had no idea what she was doing.

プリスクールが終ったあと。先生によるとすごく集中してたらしいけど、ほんとかなあ。でも親がいない方が本領を発揮するのはほんとだと思う。この日はひらがなの”し”を練習して自分でも外でお遊びする時チョークで”し”を練習してたらしい。かわいいやつだわ。
で、この袋の中に何が入ってるかというと、どうやらパンも作ったらしく、まだ暖かいレーズンパンが入ってました。たった３時間の中で中身一杯詰まったスクールです。

Wow,her teacher told me Emma did so good.I was little worried that she's not gonna do well in the totally different language and never seen people before.
She learned first her letter."し" I wish I could show you how she wrote it.It was pretty good.
And they baked raisin roll and there is the roll in the little bag to take home.

おなかがすいちゃって車の中で食べちゃった。自分で作ったパンは最高だよね。

この夏に２年半ぶりに帰る事になって、改めて子供たちのこと見てみるとあまりにも日本に触れてない生活をさせてきてしまったので今になってあせってます。花もエマも日本語はほぼ理解できるけど、話す事はできなくなってしまいました。かなしー。あたしのせいなんだけど．．．
とにかく日本のことに興味をもってほしい。日本のおじいちゃん、おばあちゃん、おばちゃん、おじちゃん、いとこと話をしてほしい。それだけなんだけどね。

She was so proud of herself that she did it all by herself and she really enjoyed.
I am so happy that my daughter is learning something I learned when I was kid and I can share the joy and I can help too.
(I was upset I had to look up dictionary when I was helping Hana's homework.I am talking about kindergarten...)
Anyway hopefully both of my kids would understand where their mother come from,how did she grow up,what is so cool about her country.

Just now Garrod came and told me that he left a little hint for me.I was excited!What ???? He has surprise for me????? So I went to kichen to find that out.And I found this!!!!

He bought this shirt year ago.I think.... It was long sleeves and I did not like it.I thought he never gonna wear long sleeves.So I cut the sleeves off.And that's it.I didn't even hem or anything.So this shirt have been in the laundry room forever.
Fine Garrod.I get it. I will fix it.Size 4XL shirt is not easy to fix!!!

日本人のお友達からなぜ英語だけになってるのかと、クレームがついたので日本語でのブログ再開します。ほんとに見てくれてるのかなあ。見ててくれたらコメント残してくれい！そしたらモチベーションも上がるよ。よろしく！！！
何はともあれ、今年も花のお誕生日会を開きました。今年の予算は５０ドル!他の場所で借りてやれば、軽く１００ドル、２００ドルは当たり前。ニューメキシコにも行ったし、この不景気そんな金は我が家にはない。ということで、今年は我が家の裏庭でキャンプすることにしました。ありがたいことにうちの裏庭は馬鹿でかい。キャンプするにはもってこいなんだよねえ。
題して　ＣＡＭＰ　ＲＡＮＤＡＬＬ。
恭子ちゃんがんばりました。

o.k it is in English.Hew... Anyway I threw Hana's birthday party here again since we couldn't invite her friends at New Mexico.
This economy,I did not want to spend money at all.What we can do under $50.
How about camp at our back yard!Hana liked the idea too.So We invited her 6 good friends.

It is called Camp Randall!!! Emma & her friend Jack helped me to pick branches and we made this sign together.

花のベストフレンドエルちゃん。我が娘の写真をなぜか撮り忘れてたので彼女の写真をアップ。まず、それぞれにバンダナとキャンプネックレスを用意し、そして子供たちが自分でＴシャツをデザインしてアイロンプリントしたものがこのキャンプのユニフォームです。かわいいでしょ。

All of the girls received a bandanna,dog tag necklace,T-shirt,first aid kit,and flashlight.

Girls designed own t-shirt and iron printed.This project turned out so fun and very cute!

エルちゃんが持ってきてくれたＴＷＩＳＴＥＲをテントの中で遊びました。とにかくテントの中に入れることが異様に楽しかったらしい。

They loved spending time in the tent! They played twister.

これも母手作りサイン。その下にはゲームができるようにターゲットがかかれています。

タイヤゲーム。芝刈り機を解体した時にでてきた４つの小さなタイヤ。これを使ってマトあてゲームをしました。これがけっこうむづかしい。でも景品狙いで皆必死。

I had 4small wheels when I took old lawn mower apart.I thought it would be fun to use for game.

Simple game.Roll wheel to the wall and if you hit the target you can get a prize.

It was simple enough to play for little one too.

今回のＣＡＭＰ　ＲＡＮＤＡＬＬのメンバーたち。上は１１歳から下は３歳まで。この縦の関係がすごくよかったです。喧嘩もなく、下は上を敬い、上はしたをケアするすっごくいい時間が過ごせたんじゃないかなあ。

I was worried about girls gonna fight.But this age gap worked so well.Older kids took care of little one and younger kids obeyed big kids.I loved this respecting they learned during camp.

花の誕生日ケーキ。去年と同じ物をリクエストされたので、おなじものを。今回１２インチのケーキパンを使って、超でかでか。出来上がった後に自分でびっくりしてしまった．．．でも味は最高よ。アライベーカリーさん超えちゃった?うそうそ。

Birthday cake.It was huge... I didn't mean to make the big one.I used 12inch cake pan and that was mistake... I didn't think its gonna be this big.Each girl had huge piece of cake.But they sure enjoyed it!

３回目のバースデーウィッシュ。何回お祝いされてもあきないよね。

いよいよマシュマロタイム。キャンプには欠かせないマシュマロロースト。針金ハンガーを利用して作った串にさしてローストしたマシュマロはとろとろに溶けておいしいそうです。あたしは苦手だけど・・・

It is time to roast marshmallow.I know I just fed them huge pies of cake.But we can't camp without marshmallow,right?

プレゼントタイム。お泊りなので時間がだらだら流れてしまい、やっとプレゼントをあける頃にはすでに時間は９時をすぎてました。

エルちゃんからはハイスクールミュージカルのメイキャップセットとガーデンキット。春に向けてぴったりのギフトです。ありがとう。

It is Elle,of course.She is just funny girl.It was about 9p.m??? She came to me with tear in her eyes."I miss mommy..." So she called her mom and told her good night.I guess she was little nervous sleeping outside.She has to come over and spend the night more often!!

ひまちゃんから。ステッピングストーンキット。これまたバックヤードにぴったり。それとかわいい漢字の入ってるソックス頂きました。ソックスほんとに欲しかったので親としては超嬉しかったのよね。

Himawari.Hana received stepping stones kit and pretty socks from her .You know those cute printed socks are quite pricey,My kid's scoks are all white boring one.They were really cute and it's got kanji(chinese character) too.Himawari told me "Kyoko-san,when we found these socks,my mom said ummm,They are expensive aren't they..But it is for Hana.we're buying them."

So funny and I appreciate our friendship.Thank you himachan and Ritsuko!

ありちゃんからは、ハナモンタナのデジタルカメラ。もう花の超お気に入りでずっと写真とりまくっていました。でもこれには落ちが．．．いざコンピューターにつなげて写真をアップしようと思ったら、あれ？うまくいかない。何でだろーなんていろいろ試行錯誤してやっとソフトウェアがないことに気がついた私。

なんとごみと一緒に捨てたらしい。花には怒られるし、自分でもあきれてしまいました。あはは。

ここはアメリカ。同じ物買ってきてソフトウェアちょっとお借りしてリターンしようかなーなんて思ってます。

Alisia.She couldn't spend the night cause of her allergy.She was so upset and so was Hana.

Hana got Hannah Montana's digital camera from her and this tiny cameraworks good and she loves it.Hana took bunch of pics in the tent,took it to everywhere.Now she is ready to look how those pictures turned out... Wait! I can't find software came with camera...I hope I didn't throw away with other trash.I was crossing my finger. Hana told me she didn't take it out from package and I remember I threw that away. Crap.Garbage track came already... Sorry I will go to

walmart tomorrow and get same stuff. And borrow the software,take it back.I love America's return policy.Shh....

隣にすんでるブリトニーちゃん。ぎりぎりまでお泊りできるかどうかわからなくて、ちょっとしょんぼりしてたんだけど、ついにパパからオッケーがでてからは一気にテンションアップ。夜通しおしゃべりしてました。男のこの話だよー。それも。最近の子はませてるわあ。ちなみに彼女まだ８歳です。

Britteny.She lives next door.It has been fun to have her.She is the one talked all night and talking about you know BOYS!!!!!

GIRL...... Too YOUNG!

今回一番お姉ちゃんだった絵衣美ちゃん。１１歳。スクラップブッキングセットをもらいました。

彼女の存在は今回とっても大きくて、上手く中立できたのは絵衣美ちゃんのおかげ。初めておとまりする妹のためにお母さん代わりだったり、忙しい私の右腕になってくれたり助かっちゃいました。

ありがとねえ。

Amy.She was the oldest in the camp.She helped me so much and I didn't know what to do without her.Amazing girl.She is bilingual.She speaks perfect Japanese and English.It was fun to watch she uses properly.

絵衣美ちゃんの妹、じゅじゅちゃん。初めてのお泊まりで、ジュジュちゃんのお母さんはかなり心配してたけど、全く問題なし。夜中のおしっこがちょっと怖かったみたいでちょっと泣いちゃったんだけど、大きいお姉ちゃんがいっぱいいたんで、助けてもらったんだよね。この夜はあたしが彼女にとってお母さん代わりだったみたいで、夜ぴったりくっついてハグくれたりなんだか、いつもと違うジュジュちゃんを発見。５歳っていってもまだまだ赤ちゃんな一面があってかわいかったです。

頂いた物は望遠鏡。実はあたしがＣＶＳで購入してた物を佳代さんに買い取ってもらってもらったんだけど、これまた問題が．．．

Amy's little sister Julia.It was her first sleep over.Her mom was little nervous too.

It was middle of the night,I was sleeping on the couch(so I can hear in case something happened)

I heard Julia was crying.I thought I need to call her mom to come get her.I went to the tent to check on her.I asked her"Do you want to go home?"She shook her head and said no.She wanted go to the bath room but too scared to go by herself.She tried to wake her sister up but she didn't wake up.

Poor girl.So I took her to the bathroom and I asked her again."Do you want me to call your mom?"She said no again.I am surprised.She is very mommy's girl and I never seen her like that.

She snuggled with me little bit and went back to tent.I guess I was the mother for her that night.

I felt little tickled inside.

絵衣美ちゃんが１時間以上かけてどうしたら星が見えるのかがんばったんだけど、なかなか焦点があわず、結局ギブアップ。次の朝だんなにもトライしてもらったんだけど、やっぱりだめでした。超残念。

この日は星がとってもきれいにでてて、子供たちに見せてあげたかったんだけどなあ。

Hana got this telescope from Julia.Actually I found it at CVS(It was $14.99) and asked her mom to buy it from me.I thought it would be fun to look stars with it.

Oh my gosh.Don't ever buy cheep telescope.Can't see anything.Amy tried to figure that out for hour but we gave up.Too bad! It was beautiful night though....

就寝時間。１０時半！興奮してなかなか寝られない様子。大きい子はずっと話をしてたらしく、やっと皆寝たのは夜中の１２時半だったかな。話してる内容はもっぱら男の子のはなし。さすがに花はまだまだそんな話どころか疲れてバク酔してました。

Finally they turned off the light.Kids under 7,they couldn't keep up no longer.

Older kids.They are preteen! Can't stop talking about boys.

次の朝、アリゾナ学園に行く子が我が子を含めて３人。７時に起床なんて思ってたら、６時ごろ子供たちがギャーなんていいながら家の中に入ってきました。何事かと思えば、とにかく外が寒かったのと、おしっこに行きたいのにテントのジッパーがなかなか空けられなくてじたばたしてたらしいです。おかしくて笑ってたら、シャレになってないし！って顔みんなしてました。ごめんよー。さすがに２月の下旬とはいえ寒かったよねえ。２週間後だと完璧だったのにね。

朝は旦那がパンケーキ、ベーコン、スクランブルエッグを作ってくれて、暖かい部屋の中でおいしく頂きました。

今回準備やら、予算の関係やらいろいろあったけど、花にとって今までで一番いい思い出になったんじゃないかと思います。あたしも子供たちと一緒に時間がすごせて楽しかった!また絶対やろうね。今度はもうちょっと暖かくなったらね。

皆来てくれてありがと～！！！

Next morning some of the girls had to go to school(including Hana),I was gonna wake them up like 7:00 am. But it was 6:00a.m.I woke up with girl's screaming.

"It is feeeeeeezing!!!!"

They came inside and told me that they woke up 10 times at least beacause it was freezing.

Yeah,it was little chilly. Plus they couldn't unzip the door but they need to go pee so bad.

I can see the picuter of them were dancing and screaming in the tent.I wish I took picures of their face when they came in.Seriousely they were shevering.

Even they had freezing cold night all of the girls told me it was fun and want to do it again.

I am so glad to hear that.

I think I proved myself that I can still make fun party without spending money.

Most important thing was Hana loved it!

Y.W Volleyball tournament

I was so excited when I found out we gonna have volleyball tournament.As you know I take volleyball very seriously.It is my life.And I get to share this joy with girls???? How fun is that!!!
So before tournament starts,we practiced twice at gym and at park.
First practice... It was very sad. There were trying hard,but seems like their feet had been glued on the floor or something.They were afraid of ball.
2nd practice,we invited twin knoll ward and had game with them.It was so fun.I thought they goona kick our girls butt,But actually it was pretty even.Now I got a hope.

Before game starts.Can't wait to play!!!

They had game every Saturday for 4weeks.We were worried about nobody gonna show up.
But wow,we had so many girls showed up and turned out huge tournament.

1st day they had clinic by Mehana Enos.She did awesome job.Girls learned how to serve,receiving,rule etc...

2nd week,not tournament yet.Played game against ward.One of y.w told me that she was teased by girl from other ward at school."we are gonna kick your butt!!!View Point" .Now we are on like a donkey Kong!!!! I was very impressed that they were really getting better each time.It not bad at all.They beated other ward a couple times.Way to go girls.

3rd week, my friend said I am a little crazy monkey coach.I know.Whole time I was yelling at girls.I can't help it.Help them to get excited right?

4th week,Actual tournament.But I wasn't able to be there for girls.We were in New Mexico.

Emily texted me how the girls are doing.1ST game they won! Yes!!!!

And after that they kept loosing..... I wish I was there for them and cheer them up!!!!

I hope girls had a good time.I really enjoyed been BOSSY.Hehehe.

Trip to New mexico

Wow, time went by so fast this month.I had so many things was going on last 2weeks.
We just went to visit Garrod's older brother's family who lives New Mexico for 5days.
Here are pictures what we did at there.

I got a Headphone for each girl to listen their favorite movie.The way we don't have to listen barbie song for 7hours.Seriously this kid can watch same movie over and over and over...
It worked pretty good.

Since Hana and her cousin are only 6days apart,we decided to throw birthday party together.

We hired Magician!!!He was so funny and kids loved him!We were all trying to figure that out how he did it.Even we had 20kids total he made balloon for each kid and entertained them so well.

Albuquerque Temple

It wasn't quite big as Mesa temple.But it was very beautiful.

Outside of temple.It was cooooooold.

Thanks to Jer and Holly, we had a great time.Kids had blast,Garrod was so happy to be able to spend time with Jer.And it was so fun to meet Holly's friends. We did Work out together 5a.m(I don't know I can't do that again),fantastic dinner at Japanese restaurant it was so good.

It was hard to watch Hana who was crying cause she was missing her cousins already.

I am so grateful to have them as our family.Even we are not able to see each other like used to be,they still care about us.I appreciate their example.We love you all.

Hana's 7th Birthday

My girl Hana turned 7!!! She has been counting on this day for a long time.
Since her birthday was Sunday,we decided to let her do one special thing she wants to do.
Her request was eating Breakfast in her bed.Um.... That sounds very familiar. Of course,That is Turley's Birthday tradition! Now it is ours too.
So I asked Garrod to get some donuts on Saturday night.I meant just Basha's.He didn't come home for awhile.Because he drove 5miles to get the donuts.Yap.Krispy Kream donuts.
He came home with 2boxes in his arms.I was like ah... there are only 4people in our family.2of them are still 7and 3.Anyway Since we haven't have donuts for long time You have no idea how much Garrod was excited.One of box was assortment.Something Hana likes.And another box was just one kind of donuts.It was obvious that he bought dozen of donuts for himself.
But soon as he opened the his box,he was sooooooooooo MAD.It was wrong kind.He wanted grazed cream filled donuts.But They were chocolate cream filled donuts.As I watching he was totally out of control,I told him to call the store.But he refused it.He doesn't like to complain.
So I picked up the phone and call the store.I started with " Hi, my husband bought donuts from your store and came home with wrong kind of donuts."And I heard nothing.It was silent.I said... Hello.Are you there? The guy said "What???" He didn't understand my English.
I repeated again.As you guess I was already frustrating at this point.He finally got my complain.He said you can bring donuts back and we can exchange it for you.I was mad.I mean he is teenager.I should not expect much. but I was mad.I was yelling at the poor kid.
"Hey! He drove 5miles to get just your stupid donuts.And it was wrong kind.Why don't you drive 5mile to bring our donuts!!! Do your job!!!! "And I hang up the phone....How bad is that!!
I can not believe that I yelled at people.Garrod was laughing at me listing the whole conversation I made with some teenager kid.I need to train myself to not to lose my temper like that.

Anyway I was gonna write about how much we love our daughter and mean so much to us.
She was only 5lbs8oz when she was born.She was always sick when she was baby.I never thought
she will be taller than anybody in her class.
She loves school and keeps good grades always.Loves to be funny like her daddy.Loves sweets like mommy.I am so grateful that Heavenly Father picked me to be your mother.
We love you and We always be there for you.

Missonaries were over

It was our turn to feed missionaries.It had been a while since Elder Utagawa left.As you know we fed them at least once a week.It was very busy but it was so much fun I can share the joy of food that I like with somebody else.

This is our traditional meal when we invite missionaries for dinner.It is very simple meal.Just cook meat and veggies on the griddle and dip in the special sauce and eat it.

They love it.They loves to challenge using chopsticks.They loves to try something new.

Actually the day me and Garrod had a little argument.I don't remember why we were fighting,but defiantly,it was not good time to invite somebody else to our house.

But I am so glad they came.They asked us how we met,where did you get married etc...

Those conversation helped us to forget the stupid fight.

Garrod loves to share about his mission with missionaries.And I love to listen the tons of stories about his mission.

I love having missionaries over.Their testimonies are so strong and always reminds me why I decided to be baptized.

I wanted to be like missionaries.

Thank you Elder... oops I forgot their name.Anyway we had a fun night and comeback again.

Emma and I were fighting about her poop issue for maybe over 2months.I tried everything I could think of just make her go poop in the toilet.But nothing worked.So finally I took her favorite thing to do away from her.It is T.V.This kid can watch T.V all day long if I don't stop her.

So first day,she was trying to make me happy by doing her trick.She gave me a big kiss told me 'I love you.mommy'

Soon as she realized this trick doesn't work,She started acting like she is so tired,so she can lay down and watch t.v. Nope!Don't work either.

Whole day she was just moaning like drug addict. T.V... T.V... T.V.... So sad...

2nd day she was still trying to figure that out how she can make me to forgive her.

She is so stubborn.All she had to do is poop in the toilet.Simple!But she decided to hold it.

3rd day she couldn't deal with this crap.(Me either) so,she did it.she finally did in the toilet!YES!!!!

And she said "Are you happy now?" with dirty look.

Man,she is such a character.

Now it has been 2weeks and she never had accident.

She still ask me "Are you happy,mama?"

I am very happy.Emma.

Rception and Goldenhills reuinion!

I never felt old this bad until today.Me and Garrod went to our old bishop's daughter's reception.
Since we have a lots of good memories from Golden Hills ward,I was little overwhelmed when I sew old friend's face.
First the girl who married today in the temple,She was Bishop Mac Laws(He is still bishop to me) and Christine's oldest daughter Aleece.She was only 10 or 11 when we left the ward.She was always tiny cute little girl.And now she became a beautiful girl who looks just like her mother.
And I sew several family from G.H ward.It was so neat to see them again.It is so funny some of them are still staying same house ,but we had never sew each other.What freaked me out was their kids! Oh my gosh,I babysat some of their kids and they were all little primary kids or baby.Now they are all taller than me and one of them was pregnant.(She was in beehive when I was beehive adviser) Seriously I felt so old.
But whole time I was there I was thinking about our girls in the Y.W.
They are goofing around now but soon as graduated They might get married.....
That is so weired....
Anyway it was fun night.

One of my new resolutions was No JUNK FOOD.I have been so careful not to feed junk food my family since Garrod started his diet. Garrod and Hana has been eating such a healthy food. Even Emma started eating salad... I am the worst.I don't know what is wrong with me...
Other day,I was hiding from kids eating leftover Holiday goodies I made(I froze them.Stupit...) in the morning.
Today,I was so exhausted from last night playing volleyball until 11p.m.Went to bed 1a.m and got up 6:30.No energy to do anything.Till noon I was slowly doing laundry or organizing Emma's room.And We went to Once Upon a Time to trade our unusing toys.Made only 6bucks from pile of toys.That part was sucked.And we got hungry stoped at Mac Donald.Why?????
Once Upon a Time is just cross the street from ANYTHING you can pick.Why I picked the place where you can get worst food.I had a medium French Fries and diet coke.It was so good.
And my friend Carly invited us to ride bike to the park.So we did.Elle kept telling me the riding behind Kyoko is so slow.Sorry Elle,Don't forget My bike is as small as yours!J/K...Anyway thank to Carly I had excise just little bit for today.Fixed chicken salad for dinner.Healthy right?After I finshed own plate, I finished Emma's plate of course and finished whole huge bowl I made for family.This is sick.I thought I got a motivation after watching Biggest Loser.
I really need to lose my weight before I visit my family.I am so sick of people telling me that you are not Japanese size anymore or You can buy maternity clothes.
Tomorrow.Eat better food and show my kids that mom can do it.

New Years Resolutions

Y.W's new theme is Be thy Example and I decided this is my new years resolution .
Not just because I am the one of the Y.W leaders.Because I am mother of Hana and Emma,I am the only one member of the church in my family,I am a representative of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Saints.
When they announced the theme I thought myself,umm.... Am I setting a good example for those girls or my children or my friends? I don't think I was setting bad examples,But not good examples either.
So, I am going to start with simple small example.I hope at least my children will learn something from me.
I am so blessed that I recieved this calling(Y.W Secretary).It has been so much fun getting to know all the girls in y.w and leaders.I am so amazed that our heavely father knows me so well to keep me stay on the track.This calling strength my testimony and helps me to remember to be better person.
Well,If you see me yelling at my kids,Just reminds me about resolution.

新年明けましておめでとうございます。皆さんのクリスマスはいかがでしたか？なんだかクリスマスが終ったかと思ったら年末の準備。アメリカのホリデーはまだまだ続きます。さてランドール家の２００８年はどう終ったかと申しますと、今年はホフマン家にニューイヤー　パーティーに誘われてカウントダウンを一緒にしてきました。

広島のお好み焼きを作ってくれとの要請があり、鉄板、お好み焼き道具一式もって、（カウントダウンパーティーでお好み焼きを披露するとは思ってなかった。。。）行って来ましたよ。

写真がないのが残念だけど、すでにそこでは奥さん方が餃子を作っており、他にも個々が持ってきた手料理がテーブルの上にバーンと並べられてました。それを横目にお好み焼きを作る私。

アメリカ人のお好み焼きを食べさせるのは以外にも初めてだったので、２枚ぐらい作ればいいかーなんて思ってたら、意外にも好評で、餃子を食べる暇もなく何枚焼いたかなあ。おそらく５．６枚は焼いたんじゃないでしょうか。アメリカ人にとっては初めて見る食べ物に興味津々ってとこだったみたいです。

おせちももっていったんだけど、伊達巻に手をつけた人もいてびっくり。なかなか面白かったです。

カウントダウン直前。この日も仕事に行ってきたのですごく疲れてた様子。ＲＥＤ　ＢＵＬＬの大きいカンをぐびぐび飲んで何とか起きてたけど、しんどかったんだって。おつかれさん。飲んでないのに一番酔っ払ってる様子のうちのだんな。天然よね。

やっぱりもたなかった。１０時半ごろまでがんばってたんだけどね。

左からみつよさん、きみちゃん、恭子、ホストの郁子さん。結構めずらしいメンバーで集まったけど、

楽しかったです。久しぶりにニューイヤーパーティーに参加できてテンション上がりまくり。ちなみにわたしは飲んでませんよー。持ってるだけ。

いやー、一日中料理してたけど楽しかったです。ホフマン家の皆さんありがとうございましたー。広島人だけに年の締めくくりをお好み焼きで締めることができて嬉しかったわ。最高です。

日本に住んでる皆さん、ここ２年ぐらいご無沙汰してますが、この通り元気にしております。これも仲良くしてくれてるお友達のおかげだと思ってます。クリスマスカードや年賀状を頂いた方にまだ返事ができてないことをお詫びします。ごめんなさい。寒い日が続いているとは思いますが、風邪などひかぬ様

気をつけくださいね。

アリゾナ在住の皆さん、今年はもう少しお友達大事にしようかと思います。すみません。不精で．．．

Christmas Morning

今年のクリスマスは教会の責任が思ったよりも忙しくあわただしくバタバタと過ぎていってしまいました。
特別な事はしてないけど、子供たちの記憶の片隅に少しでも残ってくれるクリスマスであって欲しいと思いちょこちょこと子供たちとしましたが、子供たちにとっては何といってもプレゼント。サンタさんがちゃーんとプレゼントを持ってきてくれるように、この一ヶ月間いい子でいるように必死にがんばった二人でした。

This year's Christmas went by so fast because of my church calling.... I wish I was little more organized person,I thought I am going bald!!! So I didn't do much with kids but hopely kids remembered something what we did this year.
Hana and Emma worked hard staying being good kids UNTIL Christmas.
毎年イブの夜に一つだけプレゼントを開けれることになっていて、中身も必ず新しいパジャマって決まってます。今年は花が大好きなハナ　モンタナと、エマがメロメロになっているディズニープリンセス。クリスマス当日ははこれを着てほとんど一日をすごしました。
Christmas Eve.Nothing special.Pajamas from Walmart special.Even Hana knew they will receive pajama on Christmas eve,She was very excited.

花が欲しがってたＥＡＳＹ　ＢＡＫＥ。私も子供の頃これと同じような物をもってた記憶があります。

サンタさんちゃんと花の願いを聞いてくれたようです。
Santa brought presents.She really really wanted this easy bake.I remember I had this kind of stuff when I was little.Long Run toy!But my mom was too cheap she never got me cake mix after I used up the mix came with the oven,So I think I was using play dough or something.It was very sad.

エマにはもちろんシンデレラの人形。２歳児の登龍門がアンパンマンのように３歳児の登龍門はプリンセスなんでしょうか。
From Santa to Emma.Of course it is Cinderella.This doll had clear slippers and Emma kept loosing them.I had to look for those slippers seriously every 5minutes.It drove me nuts!!!!

Santa put this stuffed animal in the jigen's stocking.

He knows Jigen is missing his pal Pepper.

ＨｏｌｌｙおばさんとJeremyおじさんより。クッキング道具一式が送られてきました。

From their uncle Jeremy & Aunt Holly.They sent a huge package for us.Kids are always excited opening box if it is from New Mexico.It was cooking set.They always know what my girls like.

They loves helping me while I am cooking.This is perfect for them.

Emma loves the measuring spoon the best from this whole gist set.She carried it with her for 2days straight.She fell in love with the spoons....

おじいちゃんとおばあちゃんはクリスマスの朝子供たちと一緒にプレゼントをあけました。

Grandad John and Grandma Mary came to our house Christmas morning and watched kids open their gifts.

We gave Dad some tool set and Turtle chocolate.It was so funny that he did not say much when He opened tool set.But when he opened turtle one,His eyes were wide opened and he was so happy.Very simple person.

And to Mom,I picked very comfy blanket and ped egg! I knew she was always looking for something really works on her heals.Hopely she liked it.

でもいざ走ってみると、もう病み付きです。

毎日近くの原っぱでブイブイいわせてはしってます。

おじいちゃん、おばあちゃん協力ありがとう！

他にたくさんプレゼントをいただきました。子供たちが頂いたプレゼントに対してどれだけ感謝の気持ちを持ってるかは正直疑問ですが、大切に使わせていただきます。ありがとうございました。

Garrod's 33rd birthday

Garrod had his 33rd birhday 2days before Christmas.I think he had a worst birthday ever.He was sick for 5days(ued his vacations) before his birthday and finally he felt better on his birthday.But We had a ward christmas party to go the day so I drugged him to the party had him watch our crazy kids. I was too busy to help Y.W Girls who were serving 250 people.So I did not even have a chance to talk to him.Poor Garrod he was chasing after Emma whole time during the party.I felt terrible the day.

But our girls made his day.They gave a huge hug and lots of kisses.

Happy Birthday Garrod .We love you.

Our Secret Elves

We got secret elves.This is donkey that we got 8 days ago.Hana was so excited when we found it.But I was like hmm.... What am I suporse to do with donkey....
And next day,our secret elf dropped stuff off for us again.It was a Manger!Now I get it.
These Elves will bring one piece everyday untill Christmas.Wow that is a lot of work bringing stuff everyday.

This is the little message about each piece.

Now It has been 8days.The Elves never skipped a day.Even it was rainy cold night,there was the piece in front of the door.We started wondering who is our secret elves?Have to be our neighbor.

So we were so sure that it is The Ellsworths.But it wasn't.Today,When they knocked our door,we run to outside and tried to figure out who the elves are.Thay are so fast.Ofcourse we couldn't catch them.And I saw Williams and asked them did you see anybody out there?

They saw 2kids and white pick up.But couldn't see who they are.

I guess just enjoy the gift from elves huh?

Whoever our secret elves are ,I just wanted let them know that it has been so fun and kids are enjoyning put all the pieces together.Thank you so much to think about our family.

We are looking foward what is coming tomorrow.

The Last day of School

Yahoo!!!School is out.I think I am the one most excited .I was so sick of getting up so early(If Garrod heard this He's gonna slap me.He goes to work at 6am...),and help wining daughter to get dressed,homework blah blah blah...
Anyway Hana earned this cute jewely box.Cause she got green stamps everyday.(Teacher gives kids stamp everyday.Green=Good,Yellow=some trouble,Red=Very Bad) Not even one day got yellow or red stamp.I am so proud of our daughter and relieved that at least Hana is not trouble maker at school.

And we celebrated at Hana's favorite restraunt Applebees.

She ordered Shrimp pasta.But She didn't eat much.??????

Oh,yah I totaly forgot that they had luch at school.Dahhhh.

Wow,it has been super busy I couldn't post any new blog.Finally it started settling down.
This picture probably almost 1week ago.My friend Carly asked me to watch her kids for a couple hours.So I decided to make sugar cookies with them.They were having fun rolling and cutting dough out.Especially Emma and Jack were so excited.
You can't see in this picture but there is Emma's friend Tatum under the table hiding from me eating dough.

Can't wait to see how their cookie turns out.

Temple Christmas light

我が教会の神殿に毎年電飾されるクリスマスライト。毎年この時期になると、多くの人が神殿を訪れて、何万個というきれいに飾られたライトを楽しみます。これは３ｗｉｚｅ　ｍｅｎ。キリストの誕生を心待ちにしながら大きく光る一つの星をめがけてさまよう様子。これはほんの一部です。広い敷地内、全ての物にライトがきらきらとかがやいており、それはきれいです。

人が多くてなかなか写真をとるいい場所がゲットできず、やっと家族だけの写真が撮れた瞬間。

これが我が教会の神殿。神殿の前にはプールがあり、水面に鏡のように映っているもう一つの神殿を楽しめるようになっています。なかなか粋でしょ?

エマはあたしのままなのに！と怒って花に文句を言ってたような．．．それもまたうれしい。

Santa came to Hana' s school on Saturday.It was Breakfast with Santa day that Falcon hill elementary school does every year.Hana wanted to go,so here we are.
We had a Cinnamon roll and hot chocolate with loaded sugar! (Whipped cream,marshmallows and sprinkles) Hana was so excited to have B.F with her class mates and the sugar helped her tension.It was MAXI MAM.When girls were taking picture with Santa,Emma was not sure Santa is safe...But thanks to Hana Emma finally sat on his lap.Emma seriously believed that the Santa was so real.I am not sure what there were talking but I am sure Emma asked Santa for what she wants for Christmas.It is PIXEL.I am not sure he will bring the gift...

I bought this kit at michaels ofcourse using 40% off coupon.I thought about getting the train one (It was sooooo cute) at Fry's but I was too cheap to buy it without any discount.So I got reglar one.

We started around 7:30p.m.I thought we can finish it in hour.What I was thinking!!!!!

Took us 2hours to do all that.Hana gave up and went to bed when we were half way done.Emma was just eating the frost off from everywhere and she got boared,so she left me in the kichen.

Ha,this is the 2008 version.I know I suck.

Hana received award from school today!!! It says,For embracing the six pillars of character

Good job,Hana.Keep up good works!!!!

She has been her diaper off for about 5months.She pees in the potty 100%.But also she poops in her underwear 100% too...We were so sick of cleaning her mess.
Then today,finally she did it.She did it in the potty.Yes.Me and Garrod were so excited.No more washing her mess.Emma seemed little embarrassed but,she was happy as well as we were.Why she was wrapped with towel?Because she was in the bah tub.Ahhh,I wish I could show you Emma's face.It was so funny.She knew if she pooped in the tub,she would be in big trouble,she was like "Oh no,Oh no,mummy,Oh no! I need to go"saying holding her bottom.
I am so proud of you Emma.You are big girl now!

二年ぶりに家族でお祝いしたサンクスギビング。七面鳥にマッシュポテト、ふかふかのパンにパンプキンパイやピーカンパイ。今年の私の担当はランドール家が大好きなスノーボールクッキーとヴァージニアおばあさん秘伝のスイートポテトでした。
今回集まったのは義理の両親、義理妹家族、後から義理弟夫婦が集まりました。

Our Randall family got together on thanks giving day.It has been a while... Unfortunately,Jer and Holly and their kids weren't there.

花とエマのいとこたち。ＫａｌｉとＰｒｅｓｔｏｎです。

せっかくの楽しい日なのに一人だけつまんなさそうにしてたのがいました。

実はこの人また風邪をひいてしまい、咳と熱、嘔吐を３日続け、サンクスギビング当日は一口も食べ物を口にすることができずずっとこの状態でした。。なぜか花は楽しい事がある日は必ず病気になっています。ディズニーランドに行ったときも中耳炎になってしまい、ホテルに医者呼んでそれだけで３５０ドルとられたとか、クリスマスの朝に風邪から目にばい菌が入り、Ｅｒｇｅｎｔ　Ｃａｒｅ　に連れてったり、社会見学に行けば、干草で気分が悪くなりみんなの前でげろはいたり、なんだか冴えません。

Here is my Hana who is sick again.Poor her she couldn't eat anything the day.

This is Heather.It was the first time spending time with us on the thanks giving day.
We played game together.It was fun.But one of our family member was very gassy the day.
She kept doing it,it was stunk.We were all gaging!!!!! I wonder what Heather thought...

不景気の波がとうとう我が家にも押し寄せてきました。来月から給料１/３カットだそうです。ちなみにうちの主人ＰＬＵＭＢＥＲ（配管、水周りの仕事、いわゆる水道屋さんです）なんですが、一般のサービスなら問題なかったのに、新築についてくる保障サービス担当なんで、家がほとんど建ってない今仕事が減ってきてたんですね。リストラにあった人もたくさんでました。残った人間はそれをカバーするために無茶苦茶一生懸命働いてきたのに．．．仕事があるだけでありがたいとはいえ、正直きびしいです。
は～．．．寄りによってクリスマス前に始める事ないのに．．．
というわけで、とりあえずジムのメンバーシップはキャンセルせざるを得ず、あとはペストコントロールに新聞、サテライトなどなど、余計な物は全てキャンセルです。
あとは食費かな。食べる量をへらす！丁度ダイエット中だし、いい機会よね。
ジムのキャンセルはかなりつらい。とりあえず近所を走ってみようかなあ。

急に肉マンが食べたくなったけど、ここはアリゾナ。セブンイレブンはあるにはあるけど、肉まんなんて売ってない。オリエンタルストアーに行けばあるけど、中国産の冷凍肉まん。恐ろしくて買えない。
じゃ作るしかないよなあ。で、早速クックパッドで検索してつくりました。
案外シンプルな材料。花も手伝うと言い出し、小さくなったエプルンを着てコネコネやってくれました。

Sunday afternoon.I was thinking What should I fix for dinner... Something light.Then suddenly I got crave Chinese pork buns.It is pretty popular in japan.You can buy it anywhere .Even at the convenience stores.But it is Arizona here you can't find such a thing at Q.T or circle K.
You can buy at Oriental market but they are made in china ... Too scary too eat them.
Plus it is Sunday.Well let's make from scratch!!!

レシピではフライパンで蒸し焼きにするって書いてあったけど、そうするとフライパンが古いせいか、くっついて皮底なしの肉まんになっちゃったので、完全蒸しに切り替え。なかなかおいしそうだよねえ。

どうよ。花、味は．．．おいしーじゃろー！

そりゃそうよ。お母さんが作った物はなんでもおいしい。って教育してます。

How that taste?Good huh!!!

Of course taste good.Anything mummy made it tastes good! I teach my kids to say that.

3MILE

もうすぐサンクスギビング。うちの教会ではこの時期毎年恒例のＣａｎＦｏｏｄＤｒｉｖｅっていうのがあって、２マイル（３キロぐらい？）のマラソンの参加条件として食料を寄付して、参加者全員で近所を走るっていう行事があります。今まで全く走る事に興味がなかったんだけど、今回どんなものかとエマと参加してきました?エマ？って思ったでしょ。教会なので年齢制限はなくおのおの好きな方法でレースに参加できます。
スクーターで参加した人もいれば、自転車に乗った子供たちや、あたしのようにベビーカーを押しながらっていう人も。
これは最近仲良くさせてらってるKimです。中学校の体育教師でとっても面白い人で一緒に走れるのかと思いきや、この日はバスケのコーチがあるそうで途中で帰っちゃいました。残念。
さて、結果はというと、３キロって結構長い！！！全然だめでした。恐らく１キロも走らないうちから心臓バクバクいいだして、あるいちゃいました。エマを乗せたベビーカーも坂道じゃ重い。
結局途中で友達を捕まえて歩いてゴールしました。
タイムは２９分とかいってたか？恐らくドベです。

I attended the Can food drive with Emma.My friend Heidi was suppose to join with me but she was sick,so I run with Emma. 2mile was longer than I thought!!! I was already dying at point of half mile... This is sad! Even I was pushing the stupid stroller,I thought I could run 2miles fine.
Finally I was giving up running,Somebody called my name.It was Janette !Yes,I got a company.So did Emma.So we walked to the goal.I haven't talked to Janette for a while,so it was fun.
By the way,Kim didn't run.She have to coach the day,so she left after they set up.Too bad.I wanted to run with her too.

これはエマのお友達のエミリー。レース中ずっと一緒でした。今思うにジャネット（エミリーのお母さんでずっと話しながらゴールした友達）は走りたかったのにあたしに気を使ってたのかも．．．
すみません。来年はもっと体力つけて参加します！

Anyway my time was 29minutes.Hahaha... That's o.k.I will keep up exercises and come back next year again.Thank you Janette running with me.

XTream Play のグランドオープニングにお友達を誘って行ってきました。

午前中にあるアリゾナ学園を終えて、昼から行ってみると、そこには予想してなかった行列ができてました。１１月とはいえまだまだ暑いアリゾナ。炎天下の中並ぶのかーって一気に気落ちしてたら、なんと

待ってる間も子供たちを楽しませてくれるピエロさんたち。もちろん無料です。

これは風船で色んな動物を作ってくれたお姉さん。エマは紫色のプードルをリクエスト。

As Carly told me the new bounsing place XTream Place is opening and it is all free!So Here we are!!!!

When we got there which is 12:30p.m,there were milion people waiting in the line to get inside.I already started getting frustrated at this point.It was pretty hot day...

But luckly,there were lot of things entertained kids while we are waiting.This is kids are watching the lady is making baloon poodle.

次はフェイスペイント。なぜか虹を必ずリクエストするエマ。これも無料。
Now what??? Ofcourse it is face painting.Emma always requests rainbow.She is not a gay.

一時間近く待ってやっと中に入れました。子供たち大喜びです。BOUNCE　Uと違ってここは一つの部屋に６個ぐらいだったかな？一緒にバウンサーが入ってて、ちょっと子供たちをコントロールするのは難しかったかなあ。子供たちはそんなのお構いなしでガンガンいろんなとこ行ってたけど。

ちなみにTODDLER用のバウンスもありました。

After we waited for a hour at outside,finally we got inside.Wow!They put everything in one huge room.I think there were 6 bouncer included for Toddler.Since it was open space so, hard for me to watch 4kids in the same time.There were everywhere.

ホットドッグにピザにレモネード。これも無料。一時間並んでゲット。

かなり疲れたけど、ただでこれだけ子供たちを楽しませる事ができてよかったわ。

Last Supper 最後の晩餐

うちの旦那がダイエットをまたもや決意！というわけで、最後に好きな物を食べておきたいという事でステーキを食べに行きました。今度こそはと家族全員願ってはいるけど、果たしてどのくらい
続くのやら。ちなみに前回は２ヶ月がんばりました。
今回のダイエット法は前回のWEIGHT　WATCHER：（ポイント制で食品一つ一つにポイントがついており、摂取ポイントを計算しながらダイエットしていく方法。もちろん高カロリーの物はポイントが高いため、摂取はできるが量はかなり少なめ。おなか一杯食べたければポイントのない野菜を食べるしかない。）とは少し違うらしく、食べる量は制限はないが、食べる種類が制限されてるらしい。
ちなみに米はNG。
ほんと今回はがんばって欲しい。皆応援してね。

We went to the TEXAS ROAD HOUSE.Because Garrod decided going on diet again....so we let him eat his favorite meal for the last supper.
He 's done weight watcher before and did it for maybe 2months.But I guess He got board eating same stuff and I got lazy making food for him.
I really really hope that it will last this time.We all know that dieting is not fun at all.
But He needs it and I know he will feel so much better and happier.

Lemonade please!

またまた登場。近所のcooper。この日は朝からお母さんが用事があったため、８時前から遊びに来ています。ただ今レモンの収穫時期。おばあちゃんからもらったレモンがたくさんあったので、子供たちのリクエストに答えてレモネードを作る事に。初めてしぼるレモンにかなり楽しそう。でも結構むずかしいんだよね。

Carly had to go to the cannary center the day, so Cooper and jack came over and played with us.
It has been long time Since Elle and Hana are at school boys never had chance to come to our house.They had a blast!
Cooper requested to do the lemonade stand.We played before and he wanted to do it again.
So I had a lots of lemons from Granma's lemon tree,we decided to make real lemonade.
Cooper was so excited squizing lemon juice.

弟のJACK。僕もやるーって絞り始めたんだけど、力がまだまだ弱く、なかなかジュースがでてこない。

Ofcourse Jack wants to do it too.MY TURN!!!!!!!!

もちろんエマも。これもまた上手くできなくてギブアップする寸前。

And ofcourse Emma wants too.MY TURN TOO!!!!!!

これは半分です。子供たちすっごいがんばったよ。
This is half of it.It was a lot of work.But kids did'nt give up.

労働の後のレモネードはうまい！子供たちが食べてるのはカルビーが出してる枝豆のスナック菓子。

皆大好きですぐなくなっちゃいました。普通に売られてます。

We made it!It tastes so good! They discoverd they can still have a fun without teir sisters.

But I missed girls.We have to do that again.

レッドマウンテン公園

月曜日の夕方、うちの教会では家庭の夕べの日っていうのがあって、毎週月曜日には家族で時間を過ごす日になっています。この日はパパは仕事でお疲れの様子だったので、子供たちと近くの公園でピクニックをすることにしました。
ここの公園には大きな池があって、ガチョウやらカモやら色んな鳥がすんでいます。今日は古くなったパンを持って、鳥たちにえさをあげることにしました。人間に馴れた鳥たち。パンを持って立ってるだけで色んな鳥たちがやってきました。

We decided to go to the red mtn park and hava a picnic there on monday night.
Garrod was too tired,so just me and kids.

めったに作らないお弁当を作りました。大したもんじゃないけど、外で食べるお弁当はやっぱり最高！
I made japanese traditional lunch box it is called "obento" for kids.It is always fun to eat at oustside.

近所に住んでいるdemiちゃん。たまたま公園でばったり会って、お弁当を一緒につまみました。

日本のお弁当なんて食べんの?なんて思ってたら、おにぎりも玉子焼きも海苔も大好き！びっくりです。

実はdemiのパパはシェフで、よくお寿司とかも作ってくれるそうで、日本食にも馴れてるそうです。

アメリカ人の子供でおにぎりを食べてくれたのはこの子が初めてで、嬉しくなっちゃいました。アメリカの食文化もずいぶん国際的になってきたなって思った夜でした。

Demi who car pool with hana to school evaryday came to join us.She was here cause her brother was practicing soccor.

I was not sure she would eat our food... But oh my gosh!She was pounding the japanese food.

It was fun to see the american kid was eating our food that usually kids gag.

Her dad is chef so,it explains a little bit.But still...

花が一番苦手としている徒競走。ふざけてるように見えるけど、本人本気をだして走ってたそうです。

大差をつけられてビリでした．．．

運動会

今年も毎年恒例アリゾナ学園の運動会に参加してきました!イエィッ！！！この日も１１月に入ったというのにまだまだ暑い。おまけにハロウィーンの次の日だったので皆かなりお疲れ気味。そんな中子供たちは一種目一種目がんばりました。

花は今年は赤組さん。隣にいるのは同じ名前の華ちゃんです。

この時はまだまだ気持ちに余裕がある花。去年は思うようにならなくて泣いてばっかりだったけど、今年はどうかなあ。

パン喰い競争。アリゾナっ子の間で一番人気の競技。メロンパンにカレーパン、クリームパンにあんぱん。皆たまにしか食べられないからかなり気合入れて望みます。花も今年こそはメロンパンをゲットするって意気込んでたました。ちなみに去年はあんぱんでかなり怒ってました．．．

結果はビリッケツだったけど、大好きなクリームパンをゲットできて大満足。

綱引き。これまたこのあと大惨事が．．．思いっきり引っ張ってたのはよかったけど、がんばりすぎて綱を離してしまい後ろにスッテ～ンと転んでしまいました。それだけならまだしもその拍子に前にいた子供たち３人もつられてこけてしまい皆花の頭の上にドミノ倒しのようにダダダーと倒れてきてしまって．．．

花はもちろん大泣きで、赤組も負けてしまいました。テンションここで思いっきり下がってしまいました。

気持ちを切り替えて今度は大人たちの番。毎回パパが楽しみにしている綱引き。

圧勝です。この写真ではよくわからないけど、うちの旦那サイズがこちらには他に３人ぐらいいました。

かって当然だろってちょっと思ったけど、楽しかったのでよし。
とにかくこの日は疲れました。帰って皆で夕方までグーグー寝てしまい、一人だけゴソゴソ起きてた気配が．．．そうです。エマです。運動会中ずっと彼女は寝てたので疲れてなかったんです。一人で何してたんでしょうか。恐ろしい．．．

Tric or Treat

ハロウィーン当日。ご覧の通りエマはヨダになるのを完全拒否。

自分でタンスからバレーのレオタードを引っぱりだしてきて、

バレリーナになると一点張り。仕方なく急きょバレリーナにしたんだけど．．．

あたし的にはヨダのほうが絶対かわいかった！残念。

近所のお友達と。夕方６時になったらゾロゾロと仮装した子供たちが

近所をうろうろし始めます。

highschool　musical（アメリカの子供たちの間で大ヒットした映画）に出てくる

シャーペイ。中央はASUのフットボールプレイヤー（Cooper）、ASUのマスコット名前忘れた（Jack）

そしてバレリーナ（エマ）

皆かわいいっしょ？どこのお母さんもこの時期は子供のコスチューム作りで大変です。

”TRIC OR TREAT ”っていいながら近所の家をたずねてキャンディーを

もらいます。これがまた小さい子であればあるほどかわいいんだよね。

うちの旦那はあの格好でよその子が来るのを家で待機してました。

ドアをあけるとあのDARTH　MAULがでてくるので、子供たちはかなり

びびってたそうです。そりゃそうだろ。

この写真の後うちの子供たちは歩きすぎて足がいたーいってぶつぶつ

ずっと言って、すぐおうちに帰ったんだけど、お友達はこの後１時間以上も

キャンディーをもらいに色々歩き続けたっていってました。

キャンディーの量もすごかったらしいです。

うちもそれなりにもらいましたが、全てパパのおなかに入っていってます。

というわけで今年の我が家のハロウィーンのテーマはスターウォーズにしました。

始めての家族全員での仮装。結構準備に時間かかりました。
まず、花はもちろんプリンセスレア。
本人かなり気に入ってました。

エマはヨダ。この帽子は手作りです。結構時間かかったんだけど、

本人やっぱかわいいものが良かったみたいで、かなり不満気でした。

でも彼女のキャラにぴったりなんだよなあ。

で、ママ。あれ？目つぶってたか。ま、いいや。

ママは Quai Gon　Jinっていうやつで最後にdarth　maulに

殺されちゃいます。まったくやな役だよね。

まず髪の毛を6個のセクションに分けて結びます。

First,make your hair into 6sections and tie each bundle.

結んだ髪の毛の周りをバリカンまたは髭剃りでそっていきます。

Shave around those tied hairs very very carefully
with clipper or shaver.

刈った後です。かなりやばい人よね．．．
This is after been shaved.Scary　isn’t he?

後は髪の毛をハードジェルで立たせて色をつけたら、角は終わり。

ペイントは水ですぐ落ちるハローウィーン用のペイントを使用。

インターネットでDARTH　MAULの顔を探しだしそれを見ながらペイント

していけば、ちょっと大きなDARTH　MAUL のできあがり。
皆さんちなみにDARTH　MAULって知ってますか?

STAR　WARSにでてくるキャラクターです。かっこいいですよ。

今回は前庭でかぼちゃにペイントすることにしました。

でもこのペイントが悲劇を招くことに。外でペイントできる嬉しさのあまり

公共の歩道と隣の家と我が家をしきるために置いてた石たち全てに

見事にペイントされてました。気づいたのがなかなか落ちず、

ご想像の通りあとでこっぴどく起こられた花でした。

We decided to have a pumpkin curving & painting at front yard this year.

I didn't know at this point this decidion will bring us tragedy...

Hana was just too excited to be able to paint outside,She painted on the sidewalk,

and each rocks that we use them as partition between Jacsons and us.

The paint was acrylic,it did not come off easily.

We scrubed and scrubed....Kids kids kids!!!!

You might be thinking kyoko! Where were you?

I was too busy curving my pumpkin.Oh well.

１０月１８日晴れ

義理弟ブラッドリー君（２４歳）ついに結婚しました！

相手はヘザー（２１歳）。小さくてとってもかわいい子です。

この日二人はずっとチュウしてました。

There were kissing all day the day.

大好きなブラッドリーおじさんと一緒に。

My girls love him so much.

East Mesaに住む日本人のお友達と家から３０分ぐらい

南にいったところにあるFARMに行ってきました!

黒猫を描いてもらってます。

もちろんエマも黒猫です。

小さいパンプキンがお気に入り

エマとCODYくん。優しいCODYくんにエマはメロメロです。

彼のことを私は松潤とよんでます。

ちなみにこの後エマは３８．５度の熱をだしてダウンしてしまいました。

それにしても疲れた．．．１０月の半ばとはいえ、まだまだ暑い！

それでも子供たちは久しぶりのアウトドアで思いっきり楽しんだようです。

日本語はムツカシイ．．．

花ただ今小学一年生。

こちらアリゾナにも日本語学校があり、そこに通わせ始めて

３年目。漢字が出始めて苦手な読み書きがさらに混乱。

これは宿題の漢字ドリル。木のつくことばをかきましょう、という問題で

当然のごとく花は私の言った事をコピーするしかない。

なえぎでいいんじゃない？っていったら花は”ぎ”ならテンテンがいるよねって

ごらんのような漢字をかいてくれました。本人一生懸命です。

花には怒鳴りつけちゃう癖があるんです。どうにかして

直す方法はないかとずっと思ってたところ、友達が子供が悪い言葉を使ったので、お仕置きでタバスコを口に入れたって言うのを聞き、我が家でも早速実行。でもタバスコがない。目に入ったのはわさび。

指先にちょこっとつけて下の上にのっけてやったら、ピーピーいって泣いてました。

この画像は二回目のとき。しかも同じ日。本人はわさびは好きじゃなくべろが痛いといってます。

我が家の週末

最近のお気に入りのゲームTROUBLEをして遊んでるところ。

仲良しの二人。TOY　STORYを見てます。

家族ぐるみで仲良くさせてもらってるTURLEY家族。

よく週末にはお互いに子供を見あいこしてベビーシッター代を

浮かせてます。アメリカは親が何かが用事がある時やデートを

楽しみたいときはよくティーンネージャーにベビーシッターを

お願いするのだけれでもこれが結構何回か続くと高くつくんです。

で、RaNDALL家とTURLEY 家はベビーシッターを交換する

ようになったわけだけれでも、暗黙の了解としてもちろん怪我が

ないように見る。食べさせる。風呂にいれる。しつけは我が子と

同じ特別扱いはなし。これをし始めて１年くらいになるかしらん。

子供たちも大喜びで家族が近くにいないもの同士助け合ってます。

ガレージセール

先週車が故障しました。

修理費２２００ドル掛かるそうです。

というわけで少しでも負担を減らそうと重い腰を上げ

ガレージセールをすることにしたものはいいけど、

準備が何とめんどくさい事。家中のジャンクをかき集め

きれいに汚れを落とし、値段をつけガレージセールの

ポスターをつくり、あちこちにはりに行き朝６時から始め

結果儲けた金額は．．．．．

たったの７０ドル！

もう絶対ガレージセールなんてしない。

Girl's Night

今日から３日間パパはユタ州に出張。

というわけで子供達がなぜか楽しみにしているガールズナイトを

決行。といってもいつもとはちょっとだけ違う事をするだけ．．．

今回はずっと暑くてパティオで食べる事ができなかった食事を、

子供たちとエンジョイしました。

メニューはナポリタン!

ケチャップに生クリームに砂糖と塩、こしょう．．．

微妙かもと思いながら作った割にはこれがかなり美味い!

子供たちがすごい勢いで食べてくれてうれしかったなあ。

My best friend Carly came today and helped me to clean my office room.again...

This picture is the after we(most of time just Carly) cleaned the all out.

Before that it was bad.It was like uh... nobody are allowed to go in the room.

Scrapbook stuff were just piled up on the craft table.Just craps were everywhere.

She organaized in my closet,cleared up on the computer desk wiped all the dust I was collecting.She was so quick and justamazing.

Now this room came alive again.

Thank you Carly.I am so lucky to have you as a friend.

I owe you big time.

エマもつまらなそうにしてたんで、この子にも買ってしまいました．．．

この日は金曜日だったのでゲーム終了後に

打ち上げられる恒例の花火です。

思いのほか迫力あったなあ。

ゲーム結果は負けました。

エマ念願のミッキーのケーキ!

ママがんばったよ。

お姉ちゃんの花と仲良しのエル。

エマとママ。ちょっと疲れてきた様子。

なぜならこの日はお誕生日会が待ち遠しくてお昼ねしてないんだよね。

やっとキャンドル吹き消せるぞーって思ったら、お姉ちゃんが消しちゃった。

大好きなパパと。TURLEY家族からはピンクのジャケットと

MY　LITTLE　PONYのバックパックをもらったね。

パパとママからはエマの大好きなミッキーグッズ（ぬりえとか下着とか）

だったけど気に入ってくれたかな。また一つ大きくなったエマにパパもママも

ちょーHAPPY！

TURLY家の皆来てくれてありがとね。

アリゾナに来て１０年半！来た当初は英語もままならず、車もなく、友達もできず、超極貧で毎日泣きながら生活を送っていたあたしも、今ではアメリカ人に劣らず態度もでかく図太く強い人間になり、二人の娘に振り回されながら楽しく過ごしています。
今年の夏も日本帰国の夢は叶わず、長いアリゾナの夏休みをジムに行ったり、プールに行ったり芝生を刈ったり、どうにかして過ごしてます。
おかげで真っ黒。日本人には見えぬほど．．．だって気温が５０度近くもあるんですからねえ。
二人の娘も大きくなりました。花６歳。近所のＥＬＬＥちゃんとほとんど毎日のようにプールで泳ぎ、これまた黒い。今日から友達のシェリーにスイミングのレッスンを受け始めました。去年もばっちり教わったのに、おかしいなあ。全く覚えてなかった。
エマ（２歳９ヶ月）。彼女もシェリーから水泳をおしえてもらってる。今年はこれで４週目。ダイビングボードから自ら飛び込むこともでき、親ばかながらすごいと思ったわ。
ただ今オムツトレーニング中。ほとんど完了。夜はまだおむつだけど、昼間は全く問題なし。ただおしっこがなかなか便器の中に命中してくれなくて、いつも床をそうじする羽目に．．．オムツの方が楽だなァ。

今年も我が家のプチ畑に野菜を植えました!今年はお店で日本のきゅうりとなすの苗を見つけたのでそれを植えて、あとは大葉、にんにく、ねぎ、にら、トマト、バジル、いちごです。この猛暑の中でも結構がんばって大きくなってるんだよねえ。
自給自足にするほど収穫はないけど、子供たちは大喜び。今日も積み立てのいちごを食べたらとっても甘くておいしかったよう。

明日は車の修理の見積もり．．．一体いくらかかるんだろうか。恐ろしい～。
